Systems Engineer IV - Chesapeake, VA

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer IV to join our team in Chesapeake, VA . SECURITY CLEARANCE

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the planning, design, evaluation, and troubleshooting of mission-critical, multi-level secure, C5I Systems to include electrical, mechanical, network interface requirements and HMI design. Conduct research to solve complex problems and provide input for future modernization efforts. Resolve difficult interoperability problems between integrated communications stations and production networks. May work in a lab environment to test system designs and provide test report feedback. Participate in Engineering reviews as required. Provide technical representation at meetings with senior staff as required in support of submarine C5ISR systems design, installation, maintenance and life cycle support design, issues and concerns.

EXPERIENCE

Thirty Plus (30+) years of professional experience in submarine engineering and programmatic support of C5ISR systems. In-depth knowledge of submarine C5ISR systems engineering, installation, maintenance, HM&E Support requirements for Virginia and Columbia class submarines. In-depth knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including, but not limited to zones, screening devices, and typical design.

EDUCATION
