This role directly supports U.S. Navy gun weapon system development, evaluation, and sustainment programs in a collaborative, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform systems requirements management, systems engineering design, and integration engineering for E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs. Conduct system trade studies, interface analysis, and design documentation in support of program objectives. Utilize systems engineering software tools to maintain requirements traceability and manage technical baselines. Support test and evaluation engineering activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting. Participate in and lead system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and engineering working groups. Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts, including ConOps, system specifications, and ICDs. Coordinate with government engineers and program managers to support systems engineering process compliance. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline. 2-5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, integration, or test and evaluation. Experience performing systems requirements management and utilizing systems engineering software tools. Familiarity with DoD systems engineering lifecycle processes. Active Secret clearance required. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Gun Weapon Systems or naval surface warfare systems engineering. Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies (SysML, Cameo, DOORS, or equivalent). Experience supporting formal design reviews within a DoD acquisition program.
