An ideal candidate for this position will have experience with system administration, Windows, and Linux operating systems (OS), Server services, and filesystem structures. This is an onsite role supporting the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in Norfolk, VA. Active Secret clearance or higher is required. The Systems Engineer also needs to have knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite, and VMware Aria. $90,000 to $120,000 Akira's pay range for this position considers various factors including skills, years of experience, training, licenses, certifications, alignment with market data, and internal equity in the organization.
