Job Description

YSI is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise architecture across multiple technology domains, including applications, cloud, cybersecurity, networks, infrastructure, data, integration, and IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Expert knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture principles, architecture governance, systems engineering, technology road mapping, and lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of federal and DoD enterprise environments, including classified and unclassified networks.
- Experience designing or governing secure cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions, preferably within AWS GovCloud or Cloud One.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, virtualization, compute, storage, databases, networking, identity and access management, containers, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of
NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-34, DISA
STIGs/SRGs, secure configuration baselines, eMASS, POA&Ms, vulnerability management, SIEM, and continuous monitoring.- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, identity-centric security, least privilege, encryption, and boundary-protection patterns.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms, applications, APIs, workflows, identity services, databases, reporting capabilities, and external systems.
- Knowledge of network and infrastructure architecture, including routing, switching, firewalls, software-defined networking, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations.
- Familiarity with configuration management, change management, Agile and Waterfall delivery, IT portfolio management, and ITIL-based service management.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and produce architecture diagrams, interface descriptions, technical standards, decision papers, implementation plans, and executive briefings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior Government leaders and both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, network engineering, application architecture, or related technical disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience serving as an Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Architect, or comparable senior technical authority.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting the Federal Government or DoD is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture across three or more major domains, such as cloud, cybersecurity, applications, networks, infrastructure, data, or IT service management.
- Experience developing architectures for highly available, mission-critical, geographically distributed, and security-sensitive environments.
- Experience reviewing technical designs and guiding multidisciplinary teams through design, implementation, testing, deployment, sustainment, and modernization activities.
- An active DoD 8140-aligned cybersecurity certification appropriate to the individual's assigned work role and proficiency level. CISSP or CompTIA SecurityX/CASP + is preferred for this senior position;
- Security+ CE may be accepted if it satisfies the designated work-role requirement.
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
Pay:
