We are seeking a Platform Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for a high-impact defense and intelligence mission. This role is critical in supporting the engineering, development, and lifecycle management of systems and services across domains such as Financial Management, Platform Engineering, Program Protection/Control, Product Management, and Requirements Management. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders withNGA Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership on new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures. Support the fielding, sustainment, and maintenance of operational hardware and IT infrastructure. Manage PMO asset documentation and conduct site inspections to ensure accountability. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and other aspects of physical property and equipment management. Collaborate with staff across the Platform Engineering Division and vendors to ensure reliable and secure operations. Partner with Product Management to document and track quarterly and annual infrastructure goals. Coordinate with CIO-T to identify and resolve infrastructure issues. Support COR coordination with vendors to ensure proper delivery of cloud computing, security, networking, storage, and database management services.Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 4 years of experience in the systems engineering career field, or 3 years of comparable experience supporting fielding and sustainment of operational hardware. Experience with using and/or managing a cloud computing environment (commercial or government). Broad understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience providing updates to leadership and senior leaders on operational issues. Demonstrated experience working on or with major defense acquisitions or large R D programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Desired Skills:
