Full-Scope Polygraph Job Description:

• Our customer needs an engineer who can architect secure AWS solutions, automate cloud broadcast workflows, and maintain live broadcast infrastructure across satellite, radio, and streaming platforms.

This position has re-opened, and candidates with the optional skills listed below are now considered essential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based broadcast networks with stringent data security requirements using AWS services and API configurations.
• Develop automation scripts and system administration tools using Python, C++, Perl, and Linux shell.
• Administer and patch Linux RHEL systems, manage firmware upgrades, and test compatibility across patch levels.
• Engineer cloud broadcast workflows including MediaLive configurations, DynamoDB table automation, and troubleshooting toolsets.
• Support analog and digital communications infrastructure including satellite, terrestrial

TV, AM/FM

radio systems.

• Configure and maintain video encoding equipment, codecs, and streaming technologies.
• Perform installations, configurations, and operational support for specialized broadcast systems including FM radio systems and portable remote broadcast devices.
• Design and troubleshoot IP network routing and switching for integrated broadcast environments.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Cloud & Security:

Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud services, API configurations, and high-security network design

Programming & Scripting:

Python, C++, Perl, Linux shell, Windows shell

System Administration:

Linux RHEL administration, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, cross-version testing

Cloud Engineering:

AWS MediaLive, DynamoDB automation, cloud platform troubleshooting

Broadcast Communications:

Analog/digital satellite, terrestrial

TV, AM/FM

radio systems

Media Technologies:

Video codecs, streaming technologies, encoding equipment and processes

Specialized Systems:

FM radio systems and sponsor-specific TV/radio signal devices (scalable portable remote devices)

Network Engineering:

IP routing and switching

Broadcast Operations:

Installation, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

• Multi-cloud platform experience (Azure, GCP)
• DevOps/Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Broadcast systems integration in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
• Video engineering certifications (SMPTE, BEITC)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in media workflows

Pay:
