Job Description

Job Type Full-time Description LightGrid is looking for an Engineering task lead. This position requires an Active TS/SCI Clearance. The Engineering Task Lead will oversee all engineering activities under DISA , including design, development, integration, and sustainment of enterprise IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments. The role is responsible for ensuring technical execution aligns with DISA standards, supporting system transitions from development to operations, and maintaining resilient, secure, and scalable solutions. The Engineering Lead will manage engineering teams, coordinate with architecture and development leads, and ensure delivery of mission-critical capabilities supporting Pentagon and NCR stakeholders. Requirements 10+ years engineering experience; 5+ years in lead role supporting DoD programs Bachelor's in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred) Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Security+, CISSP preferred) Enterprise systems engineering; hybrid cloud (on-prem + cloud); system integration; Dev/Test/Prod transitions; secure environments (RMF/ATO); DISA/DoD infrastructure Lead engineering execution across all task areas

  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Ability to brief Government stakeholders
  • Team leadership and coordination Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
