Job Summary Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead integration, qualification, manufacturing, production transition, and fielding of APS technologies, including munitions, sensors, turrets, controls, and realtime software. The role involves coordination with foreign suppliers, vehicle primes, and US military customers, and collaboration across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management. Responsibilities include system and subsystem architecture development, requirements and interface definition, verification planning, and support for vehicle integration, qualification testing, troubleshooting, reliability and safety analyses, logistics, training, and customer documentation. Domestic and international travel is required. Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies. Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects. Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects. Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment. Additional Responsibilities Leads full product lifecycle, from requirements and design to integration, verification, and support;creates and manages and validates requirement databases, verification methods, and traceability; plans and executes system integration and verification programs; develops system architecture and monitors performance; supports safety, reliability, logistics, and documentation; prepares technical materials; identifies design issues and performs FMEA.
