Job Description

Job Title Experienced Cabin Systems Engineer Job Summary We are seeking Experienced Cabin Systems Engineers to join our aerospace engineering team. This role blends aviation cabin systems expertise with software and networking skills to design, integrate, and support advanced aircraft cabin solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge of aircraft systems with hands-on software development and troubleshooting capabilities. Key Responsibilities 1. Cabin Systems Design & Integration Design, develop, and integrate advanced aircraft cabin systems, including: Video Surveillance Systems Passenger Connectivity Solutions Lighting Systems and Environmental Controls Networked cabin systems interfacing with aircraft avionics Support system architecture definition and end-to-end integration across hardware and software domains. 2. Technical Operations & Support Perform system maintenance, performance optimization, and lifecycle support for cabin systems. Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues across integrated cabin environments. Provide technical support and root-cause analysis for system anomalies and field issues. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including avionics, networking, and software engineering. 3. Software & Network Engineering Develop and maintain software components using C, C++, and Python . Work in Linux-based environments , including containerized deployments using Docker . Design, configure, and troubleshoot aircraft network systems using TCP/IP, VLANs , and related protocols. Use Git for version control and collaborative development. 4. Documentation & Compliance Create and maintain technical documentation, including: System Architecture Documents Interface Control Documents (ICDs) Technical manuals, user guides, and maintenance documentation Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with aerospace standards and program requirements. Required Technical Skills Strong background in aircraft cabin systems and avionics Proficiency in C, C++, and Python Solid experience with Linux operating systems Hands-on expertise with Docker and containerization concepts Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs) Experience with Git and modern version control practices Advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and root‑cause analysis skills Required Attributes Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent technical judgment and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams Comfortable working in complex, safety‑critical aerospace environments Nice to Have (Optional - if you want to include) Experience with aircraft certification programs Familiarity with cabin management systems (CMS) Exposure to DO‑178 / DO‑254 or similar aerospace standards Prior experience supporting aircraft entry‑into‑service or operational fleets
Pay Range Minimum:
$ 92,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum:
