In this position you will work on the storage component of the Aurora DSQL Data Plane. Distributed data management is at the heart of AWS database services and is responsible for delivering ultra-fast and highly scalable performance. We are building and operating large scale, distributed, fault-tolerant data and transaction management solutions using specialized data structures, distributed consensus algorithms and many other advanced technologies. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
