Summary:
As a Sr. Information Security Specialist, you will support the protection of company information assets through cybersecurity operations, security compliance, vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness initiatives. This role is responsible for monitoring security systems, identifying and mitigating risks, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, and driving continuous improvement of information security programs across North America operations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, global headquarters, vendors, and external partners to strengthen cybersecurity posture, support operational continuity, and ensure compliance with applicable security standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
Monitor systems and security tools for abnormalities, threats, vulnerabilities, and potential data leakage incidents Investigate, respond to, and support remediation efforts related to cybersecurity incidents and security events Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments to identify security deficiencies and implement corrective actions Support vulnerability management activities, including tracking, remediation coordination, and reporting Develop, update, maintain, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standard operating processes Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, industry, and company security standards and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, KNCT, and related frameworks Support ISO certification, surveillance audits, and renewal activities Conduct site audits and compliance assessments for North America locations Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and develop security training programs for employees Create and deliver security awareness training and communication materials Perform security reviews and risk evaluations for new systems, devices, software, and technology solutions Lead and/or support cybersecurity infrastructure and security equipment implementation projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and HQ to improve cybersecurity operations and standardization Maintain accurate security documentation, audit records, and compliance tracking Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cybersecurity operations and compliance programs Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications
Experience:
6+ years of information security or cybersecurity experience within a corporate or manufacturing environment Experience supporting cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, compliance, and incident response activities Experience working with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and related compliance requirements Manufacturing or global enterprise environment experience preferred
Skills:
