As Needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer to support systems engineering and integration of Space Force projects for the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO), Space Systems Command (SSC) on a variety of tasks and projects located at Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in STEM related field (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity) 5+ years demonstrated experience in cyber integration and defense cyber security Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); adaptable to new analytical tools Experience with Jira/Confluence for managing tasks, review workflow, task delegation and collaborative documentation in a digital engineering environment Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex tasks in a dynamic environment Willingness to travel as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Master of Science in STEM related field (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity) Familiarity with Joint Pubs, specifically JP 3-12, and the Joint Planning Process Experience with ITIPS, eMASS, Xacta, and vulnerability management tools Working knowledge of 8570 compliance requirements Security+ certification (baseline requirement under DoD 8570) CySA+ and/or CSSP certification SETA experience with Cyber Enabled Space Ops (military, contractor, or DoD civilian) Familiarity with the DoD acquisition lifecycle Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and modern software engineering principles

RESPONSIBILITIES
