IS Security Developer III Responsibilities:
Leads enterprise secure application development and DevSecOps automation initiatives supporting federal cybersecurity missions. Defines secure development standards, architects scalable automation frameworks, and oversees integration of security controls into CI/CD pipelines across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Ensures application-layer security controls align with
NIST RMF, SSDF
(NIST
SP 800-218
), and agency-specific mandates. Provides technical authority for secure software architecture decisions, validates security testing rigor, and delivers executive-level reporting on application security risk posture and remediation strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field 9+ years relevant experience (Additional relevant experience may substitute for formal education) Security+, relevant Dev cert
