Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator to support and secure the organization's IT environment. This role will be responsible for network administration, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 security, hosted server support, and the secure adoption of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure and security, the ability to work independently, and a practical understanding of AI-related business risks. This person will also collaborate with a small IT team, recommend improvements to leadership, and provide occasional end-user support when needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti equipmentStrengthen security across networks, endpoints, hosted servers, and Microsoft 365Assess risks and support secure use of Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft CopilotMaintain two remotely hosted servers and related applicationsRecommend infrastructure and security improvementsSupport future cloud transitions and hosted application migrationsPartner with IT support staff to resolve technical issuesProvide occasional hands-on support for end-user equipmentDocument configurations, procedures, and changes
