NIST 800-53
Rev. 5 security controls. This role defines and enforces FDMS-aligned policies for data evaluation, ingestion, and cataloging. This future opportunity is contingent upon award. Job Description
  • The Security & Compliance Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining security and compliance frameworks.
  • The position requires conducting security audits, enforcing security policies, and managing security tools (SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, identity management solutions).
  • Administrators will ensure compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks.
  • The role includes maintaining continuous monitoring dashboards and conducting vulnerability scans. Required Qualifications and Experience The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related field; or
  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in security and compliance management. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
  • Conducting security audits.
  • Enforcing security policies.
  • Managing security tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and identity management solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks.
  • Working with tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus. Required Skills and Competencies
  • Expertise in security risk assessments, identity and access management (IAM), and continuous monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Proficiency in zero-trust architecture, security automation, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus.
  • Ability to implement NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DoD
IL-4/IL-5
security policies. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Preferred, Not Required)
  • AWS Certified Security - Specialty (Preferred, Not Required) Clearance Requirement
  • An active Secret security clearance is required for off-site duty location.
