Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Technical Services to lead our technical
T1/T2/T3
team and oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure and services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive technological excellence, ensure system security, and foster innovation across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional enterprise solutions. Duties Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams responsible for system administration, network security, cloud infrastructure, and software development. Participate in client support to "work in the trenches" as needed. Develop and execute strategic plans for IT infrastructure growth, modernization, and security aligned with business objectives. Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise solutions including virtualization, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and data management systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as
HIPAA, PCI
DSS, and best practices in information security and risk management. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of hardware, software, and cloud services. Implement robust disaster recovery plans, business continuity strategies, and change management processes to minimize downtime. Skills Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and management. Proficiency in network protocols including VPNs, DNS, MPLS, WAN/LAN architecture; solid knowledge of network security practices including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Deep expertise in databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB; familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Strong background in programming languages including JavaScript (React, Angular), Python, PHP, C#, Java (.NET), Node.js; experience with software development frameworks like React Express. Linux Expert, Windows Server Expert, VOIP Proven leadership in managing technical teams within Agile environments; excellent project management skills with experience supervising complex projects from inception to completion. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Proxmox; experience with server management (CEPH storage), Proxmox environments, and system administration. Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (NIST), information security protocols, disaster recovery planning, and compliance requirements like PCI DSS. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization; adept at cross-functional collaboration and strategic decision-making.
