Job Description

What you'll be doing: As a Cyber Security Network Engineer Lead, you will take ownership of securing Avon's global network infrastructure across both on‑premise and cloud environments. You'll design, implement, and maintain robust network security solutions that protect critical systems, data, and operations. Working closely with IT and security teams, you will ensure our networks are resilient against evolving threats while continuously improving controls, processes, and technologies to support a secure and scalable digital environment.
Key responsibilities:
Designing and managing secure network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches. Implementing and maintaining security architecture using protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and PKI. Monitoring network traffic and identifying threats using IDS/IPS and SIEM tools. Conducting vulnerability assessments and supporting risk mitigation strategies. Securing cloud environments across AWS and Azure platforms. Automating security processes and analysis using scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Implementing encryption and data protection measures aligned with regulatory standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and respond to incidents. What we're looking for: Proven experience in network security engineering within enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols. Experience with threat detection tools such as IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms. Understanding of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to assess risks and implement effective security solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
