Job Summary:
We are supporting an opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to help maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure across remote sites and data center environments. Our team is seeking someone who can support network operations, strengthen security controls, and contribute to timely resolution of issues that impact availability and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Support remote sites and data centers with smart hands assistance for infrastructure and network equipment. Manage and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls, including rule creation, policy reviews, and security hardening. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routing and switching infrastructure, application delivery platforms, centralized logging, and backup processes. Perform vulnerability assessments, port scanning, patch reporting, and support incident response, disaster recovery, and 24×7 on-call coverage.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with firewalls, routers, and switches is required. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers across different time zones, communicate clearly, and work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail. Ability to develop detailed network diagrams, topology maps, and design documentation, and to work with technology vendors and technical leads to define solutions. Valid driver's license with a safe driving history that meets the required safe driver policy, plus the ability to travel by vehicle approximately 25% of the time.
