Position Duties/Responsibilities You will use enhanced knowledge of information systems design in order to evaluate and recommend alternate design approaches to include functional system, ADP equipment, telecommunications facilities, and security requirements. You will participate in security status meetings to keep informed of all activities, problems, and issues relevant to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) network security. You will coordinate with the Special Security Officer (SSO) for handling, storing, disposing of, and marking classified components, software, and documentation to ensure consistency in implementing Command policy and procedures. You will assist with documenting all Information Security vulnerabilities and new threats detected in the network, as well as assisting with protective and corrective measures if a security problem is discovered.
