Job Description

audit and assessment requirements. Strengthen Identity, Access, and Endpoint Security Own IAM/PAM operations, including role-based access, access reviews, and privileged-access enforcement for administrators. Oversee conditional access, directory design, and secure identity lifecycle management. Drive Vulnerability Management and Secure Configuration Ensure comprehensive EDR coverage across workstations, servers, and Linux systems. Lead vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and continuous improvement of vulnerability management practices. Implement secure configuration baselines, including CIS Benchmarks, in partnership with Compliance. Partner Across Network, Cloud, and Data Security Provide security oversight for network architecture and cloud environments, including segmentation and firewall governance, in partnership with Infrastructure and Network/Firewall teams. Set security standards for cloud environments used by Engineering and partner with Infrastructure to ensure practical, effective implementation. Support data classification, DLP, and retention initiatives in close partnership with Compliance. Improve Monitoring, Response, and Resilience Lead 24/7/365 security monitoring and incident response, supported by MSSP coverage, to detect, analyze, and respond to real-time threats. Lead tabletop exercises, support security awareness and phishing-simulation programs, and coordinate the annual penetration-test cycle. Align operational practices to recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF and ITIL to support consistent, auditable security service delivery. Build and Develop the Team Manage, mentor, and develop cybersecurity analysts focused on IAM, vulnerability management, SecOps alerts, incident response, and security tooling. Help shape and maintain the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap in partnership with Compliance and IT leadership, translating operational priorities into clear executive updates. What We're Looking For U.S. Person status required due to government-contracting requirements; security clearance may be required. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with an infrastructure or operations focus, including 2+ years of people leadership or team leadership experience. Strong working knowledge ofNIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, CIS
Controls, and secure technical control implementation. Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, GSE, CASP+, or CCNP Security preferred or in progress. Hands-on experience with modern security tooling across MDR/EDR, IAM/PAM, web and email security, and vulnerability management—not solely policy-level familiarity. Preferred Experience Aviation or defense/government-contracting industry experience. Experience with tenant-to-tenant identity migration (e.g., M&A carve-out or divestiture). Hands-on Windows/Linux (Red Hat), networking, databases, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
