Job Description

Warren County Community College is seeking an innovative and student-focused professional to serve as Teaching Administrator - Cyber Security. This full-time, in-person, 12-month position provides leadership for the College's Cyber Security program while teaching courses, supporting curriculum development, supervising adjunct faculty, and providing academic advisement to students interested in cyber security and information technology careers. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Teaching Administrator is responsible for coordinating program operations, maintaining curriculum relevance, supporting assessment and accreditation activities, and fostering relationships with industry partners and advisory board members. The position also assists students with academic planning, career exploration, industry certifications, transfer opportunities, and workforce readiness while supporting recruitment and community outreach initiatives. Qualified candidates should possess a master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, Network+, or related credentials are preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of professional experience in cyber security, information technology, network administration, digital forensics, or a related field. Previous college-level teaching experience and strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be passionate about student success and committed to preparing students for careers in one of today's fastest-growing industries.
