Our client is currently seeking a Tech Engineer 4 Contract |
Open Location:
Buffalo, NY We are looking for the following requirements:
Core Platform Expertise:
Deep, hands-on expertise with Broadcom/Symantec technologies including ProxySG / Secure Web Gateway, Cloud SWG, and Symantec DLP (Network Prevent, Endpoint, Discover) across hybrid environments. Proven experience designing and supporting integrated proxy + DLP architectures, including ICAP-based traffic inspection, TLS decryption, and inline content control enforcement.
Architecture & Engineering Depth:
Demonstrated ability to architect and optimize end-to-end data protection flows across web, email, and endpoint channels, including inspection, blocking, and alerting workflows. Strong understanding of hybrid proxy architectures (on-prem ProxySG + cloud-hosted SWG) and migration strategies to cloud-delivered security services (SSE/SASE models).Experience designing for high availability, traffic load balancing, and low-latency inspection pipelines across geographically distributed environments.
Advanced Capabilities:
Experience driving automation of policy lifecycle management, including recertification, change control, and audit traceability for proxy and DLP environments. Ability to lead strategic transformation initiatives such as: Migration from on-prem proxy to cloud SWG Adoption of Zero Trust / ZTNA capabilities Consolidation of data protection tooling into unified platformsTech Engineer
