Job Description
We are a 20-person MSP in the NY market building a serious security practice. We are hiring one senior engineer. This role is for someone who is already doing strong security work but is capped by bureaucracy, limited authority, or a narrow SOC function. You will not be monitoring alerts all day. You will not be buried in a hierarchy. You will not be asking for permission to improve things. What You Will Own Security architecture and standards across all managed clients SIEM strategy, tuning, and response EDR deployment, policy, and optimization Firewall security posture across environments Incident response leadership Direct client advisory on risk and remediation You will have decision-making authority and direct access to leadership. Required Background 5+ years hands-on security engineering experience Real SIEM tuning and investigation experience Deep EDR operational experience Firewall management across multiple environments Led or owned live incident response Able to speak confidently with executives and technical teams MSP or MSSP experience preferred. This is not a stepping stone role.
