We are seeking motivated and curious interns to join our Digital Security team for a focused internship in cybersecurity. This program provides exposure to multiple domains of information security, real-world security challenges, and collaboration with experienced professionals across Devon. Interns will learn and apply Digital Security principles and workplace practices through a combination of team and individual project assignments
- analyzing problems, gathering requirements, and helping determine and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Digital Security team members and business stakeholders to understand security requirements, risks, and objectives. Analyze security problems, gather requirements, and help determine and implement solutions. Support Information Assurance activities- assessing controls, policies, and compliance. Assist with Incident Response
- monitoring, triage, investigation, and documentation of security events. Contribute to Risk Management
- identifying, assessing, and helping track and remediate risks. Support Cloud Security efforts across Devon's cloud environments. Assist with Threat Intelligence
- researching threats, indicators, and emerging attack trends.
Technology Exposure:
Information Assurance Incident Response Risk Management Cloud Security Threat Intelligence (to confirm) List the specific tools/platforms the intern will use (e.g., SIEM, cloud security, endpoint, vulnerability management, SOAR) to mirror the Data Analyst posting's Technology Exposure list.Education:
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Preferred Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of information security concepts and principles. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze problems, gather requirements, and implement solutions. Effective oral and written communication skills. Interest in cybersecurity and technology-driven solutions. Willingness to learn new tools and collaborate with diverse teams. Digital literacy and attention to detail.What You'll Gain:

Requirements:
Full-time student enrollment. Pursuing a degree in information security, information technology, management information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. GPA 3.0 or higher.
