Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer to join a mission-driven organization in the nonprofit sector in Conshohocken, PA . The Senior Enterprise Security Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader and hands-on individual contributor focused on Application Security, DevSecOps enablement, secure software delivery, and cloud security initiatives. Responsibilities of the
Senior Enterprise Security Engineer:
- Lead application security initiatives including secure design reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews across modern application environments.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging DevSecOps practices and automated security testing tools.
- Review and secure Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code deployments, following cloud security and governance standards.
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to establish secure development standards, security patterns, and implementation guidance.
- Contribute to Azure security architecture, Zero Trust initiatives, identity controls, logging, monitoring, and detection capabilities.
- Mentor and coach junior security analysts and engineers while promoting secure engineering practices across the organization.
Senior Enterprise Security Engineer:
- 10+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with a strong focus on Application Security and secure software development.
- Hands-on experience conducting code reviews, threat modeling, secure design assessments, and DevSecOps program development.
- Expertise securing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code security controls, cloud governance, and Azure security services.
- CISSP certification required or actively pursuing certification with anticipated completion within six months. Compensation for the Senior Enterprise Security Engineer includes:
- Salary range: $140,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
