What they do

A Vulnerability Analyst or Penetration Tester probes for and exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. Penetration Tests are designed to achieve a specific, attacker-simulated goal and should be requested by customers who are already at their desired security posture. A typical goal could be to access the contents of the prized customer database on the internal network, or to modify a record in an HR system. Vulnerability Assessments are designed to yield a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and are generally for clients who already understand they are not where they want to be in terms of security. The customer already knows they have issues and simply need help identifying and prioritizing them.

SilverPillar Cyber Advisors is seeking a level 1 tech to join their firm. Based in Chadds Ford, PA, this position takes on customer facing tasks in a team-based work environment. Hours are normal business hours Monday through Friday. Key Qualifications:

Entry level - 2 years of experience Familiarity with principles of Helpdesk, RMM, and tenant management services Familiarity with supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments. Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues Ability to explain technical concepts in a digestible way Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a Managed Services Provider (RMM/PSA tools, multi-client environment) CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities:

Serve as first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues Manage and organize IT projects and help desk tickets. Assist users with information systems and programs as needed. Utilize an RMM and PSA product to monitor internal and external PCs and servers. Threat monitoring and patch management of internal and external environments. Regular reporting to clients. Assist level 2 techs with tasks as needed.
