A Cyber Security Engineer designs systems that protect the security of large databases, including databases with customer information and patient files. Examines client computer systems, identifies weak points in security, develops and implements new systems, monitors and responds to security issues.
Support and optimize Okta Identity Governance implementations, including application onboarding, configuration, testing, and deployment. Configure and maintain identity governance solutions such as lifecycle management, access requests, reviews, entitlements, policies, workflows, and integrations. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve onboarding challenges to ensure smooth identity governance activities. Collaborate with application owners, security teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to gather requirements and support project delivery. Develop technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures adhering to best practices. Uphold professionalism, integrity, and respect within a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in Identity Governance and Administration, including at least one year with Okta or similar platforms. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related fields preferred; or a minimum of five years of relevant experience with identity security platforms. Experience with Okta Identity Governance features such as application onboarding, access reviews, entitlements, workflows, and IAM integrations. Understanding of identity governance, access controls, regulatory compliance, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Ability to participate in technical discussions and deliver client solutions effectively. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
