Business Development Manager, Architectural and Enterprise Accounts Keystone Sports Construction - 4.0 Phoenixville, PA Job Details Full-time $150,000 a year 9 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Professional networking Teamwork Customer relationship building Interpersonal skills Client rapport building Business development Corporate sales environment Full Job Description About Keystone Sports Construction We're a leader in designing and building high-performance sports and athletic facilities, trusted by clients who won't settle for anything less than the best playing surface the industry has to offer. From the ground up, we turn architectural vision into fields, tracks, courts, and venues that stand the test of time and heavy use. And we're growing fast. Over the past few years we've continued to expand our footprint, our team, and our project pipeline at a pace that keeps every day exciting and every role meaningful. Joining Keystone now means getting in at a moment of real momentum, where your work directly shapes where we go next and there's genuine room to grow right alongside the company. About the role We're looking for a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to grow and deepen our partnerships with architectural and engineering firms, and large enterprise customers. This is a role for someone who thrives on building trust over time, who knows that the best opportunities often start over a meal, a round of golf, or a genuine conversation, and who can carry that relationship all the way through to a specified project. This position will require occasional overnight travel across our operating region, which spans New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC, and Virginia, so the right candidate is energized by being on the road and in front of clients throughout these markets. What you'll do You'll identify and pursue new business development opportunities across the architecture and engineering community and with major enterprise clients. You'll cultivate these relationships well beyond any single product or project, hosting meals, entertainment, golf outings, and other engagements that keep Keystone top of mind. You'll host lunch-and-learn sessions to educate partners on what we do and how we do it. You'll help shape and, when necessary, redirect specification narratives in our favor, pulling in our regional sales managers at the right moments to reinforce the technical case. And you'll act as the connective tissue between our clients and our internal technical team. What we're looking for Someone with a proven track record in relationship-based business development, ideally within construction, building products, or a related industry. Strong interpersonal and hosting instincts, and genuine comfort entertaining clients. The aptitude and willingness to learn the technical specifics of our work well enough to speak credibly and present lunch-and-learns. Familiarity with how architects and engineers write specifications is a real plus. And someone collaborative enough to bring our sales engineers in effectively rather than going it alone. Location This position is based out of our headquarters in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, with regular in-office presence expected. That said, we're willing to make exceptions for industry professionals who bring extensive, directly relevant experience in this type of role. Join us as a Business Development Manager to unlock new opportunities, build impactful relationships, and lead our growth in architectural and enterprise sectors! Qualifications Five (5) + years proven experience in business development, sales, or account management. Experience within the construction, building products, sports construction, architecture, engineering, or related industries preferred. Strong relationship-building, networking, and client engagement skills. Ability to learn and communicate technical construction and product information. Experience presenting to architects, engineers, or enterprise customers preferred. Knowledge of architectural specifications and the construction industry is a plus. Willingness to travel regionally, approximately 30% Positive, energetic attitude with a strong work ethic Responsibilities Develop and grow relationships with architectural, engineering, and enterprise accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities that lead to project specifications and sales. Host client meetings, lunch-and-learns, and networking events to promote Keystone's solutions. Influence project specifications and position Keystone products during the design phase. Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support customer needs and secure opportunities. Represent Keystone throughout the region and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
