In this critical role, you'll be at the forefront of managing complex projects that streamline application retirements, enhance compliance, and bolster cybersecurity efforts across large, dynamic environments. Your expertise will help shape our security framework, ensuring the safe retirement and decommissioning of information resources while engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills:

Proven experience managing multiple projects from initiation to completion, including scope, schedule, and budget management. Strong organizational and coordination skills to oversee complex efforts such as application retirements, compliance reviews, and document updates. In-depth understanding of application retirement/decommission processes and verification procedures to mitigate security risks. Knowledge of SDLC Retirement/Decommission processes and information security accreditation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing documentation and delivering executive briefings. Familiarity with cybersecurity policies, SOPs, and training development. Proficiency in creating and customizing SharePoint sites, managing content, and collaboration tools. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent credentials are preferred but not mandatory. Nice to

Have Skills:

Experience working in federal or large government agencies. Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks. Background in IT systems lifecycle management and policy development.

Preferred Education and Experience:

13 to 20 years of relevant professional experience. A degree from an accredited university in a related field is preferred; however, four additional years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree. Demonstrated ability to handle high-visibility, mission-critical projects independently. Experience overseeing teams or multiple project resources.
