Cyber Security Analyst
Exelon is looking for a mid to high level Cyber analyst to join their team out of the Bethesda MD, that is his first choice Candidate must have 5 plus years of experience. This new role is not a junior position. Well rounded technical ability with understanding of infrastructure and networking. the best candidate will have mid to high level experience and will have apps maintenance and monitoring experience as they will be reviewing and analyzing apps data for vulnerabilities. The team at Exelon is responsible for project and operational support of their Scada systems. They must have splunk experience. Hands on experience a must. Systems only experience will not be accepted.we have closed the splunk analyst and need a cyberark analyst

Team Function:
Kurt's team is an application support team managing tools for log management (Splunk), configuration management (Tripwire), credential storage (CyberArk), network access control (Aruba ClearPass), network asset management (Crossbow), and authentication (RSA Authentication Manager).
Key Technical Skills:
Required skills include devops, scripting (Python, PowerShell, YAML), API connectivity, data normalization, and strong system administration (Linux/Windows, patching, upgrades, backups, certificate management).
Desired Tool Experience:
Specific experience with Splunk, Tripwire, and especially CyberArk (deployment and integration, not just end-user) is highly valued.
Geographic Preference:
The primary goal is to place someone in the Bethesda office to support a team lead, with secondary options in the Delaware/Philly area, and potentially Chicago.
Project Context:
The role is tied to the OT/DER project, which involves building new Tripwire, Splunk, and CyberArk instances, with future phases including Eun 2.0 and gas consolidation.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
