• Position Description:

• CGI Federal is seeking a Cybersecurity SME to support a multidisciplinary team in delivering mission‑critical capabilities, strengthening governance, and driving innovation for a federal client.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self‑starter with proven cybersecurity experience and the ability to assess and coordinate a wide range of government projects, including analyzing business processes and supporting key program initiatives. This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

• Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and execute cybersecurity strategies and plans for IT and OT systems.
• Provide system assessment and authorization support, including ISSO duties, ATO processes, and POA&M remediation activities.
• Conduct system testing and remediation, including red team/blue team exercises, penetration testing, and static/dynamic code scanning.
• Support compliance with federal requirements (Binding Operational Directives, Emergency Directives, Executive Orders, CDM program).
• Implement and operate cybersecurity solutions across asset management, IAM, vulnerability management, configuration management, EDR, network protection, cloud security, and data protection.
• Develop and maintain a Lifecycle Maintenance and Cybersecurity Sustainment Framework to ensure systems remain secure, modernized, and operational.
• Provide OT risk management and compliance support, including implementation of risk management frameworks.
• Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work.

In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a

DHS/CISA

EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred). Proven cybersecurity experience in strategy, assessment, remediation, and sustainment for IT and OT environments.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with system testing, penetration testing, and code scanning.
• Expertise in operating cybersecurity solutions across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of OT risk management frameworks.

• CISSP
• CEH
• GSEC

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $276,200.00.
