You will join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where we prioritize learning, collaboration, and technical growth. This role reports to the Technical Director and supports the implementation, operation, and maintenance of cybersecurity systems that are critical to our customers' mission. Essential duties of this position include: Assist with the configuration, deployment, and management of
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- solutions like
- CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
- to protect infrastructure. Collaborate with senior engineers to support
- SIEM
- (e.g.,
- Microsoft Sentinel
- ) and
- NDR (Network Detection and Response)
- systems.
Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving security incidents as part of an expert team of cybersecurity professionals. Perform basic health checks, reporting, and troubleshooting of service delivery systems (EDR, SIEM, NDR, firewalls, etc.). Gain hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) while supporting and learning about Cloud Architecture design and security practices. Contribute to security architecture documentation, including security policies, standards, and system design artifacts under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist with compliance initiatives related to
FEDRAMP, NIST 800-53
controls, System Security Plans (SSP), and CIS hardening baselines
Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications:
Recent completion of a Bachelor's degree
- in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CYSA+) may supplement academic qualifications. Up to
- 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
- , including internships, coursework, or entry-level positions in cybersecurity, information technology, or network security.
Required Experience :
Basic understanding of
- EDR solutions
- (e.g.,
- CrowdStrike, SentinelOne
- ) and/or SIEM (e.g.,
- Microsoft Sentinel
- , Splunk).
General exposure to cybersecurity concepts and practices through school projects, certifications, or internships. Willingness to learn and grow technical skills in security operations, architecture, incident response, and compliance frameworks. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience (via internships, projects, or prior roles) in a large, complex IT environment is desirable. Familiarity or exposure to
- ManageEngine
- , •ServiceNow•, •Palo Alto Firewalls•, and •Vectra AI•is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and concepts such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Understanding of IT frameworks and security best practices, including
- ITIL v4
- , •TOGAF•, or similar methodologies.
Cybersecurity certifications such as
- Security+
- , •CYSA+•, or vendor-specific certifications like CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA), CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
Target salary range:
$40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
