Job Summary Upen Group is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support security monitoring, incident analysis, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations. This position is suited for an early-career cybersecurity professional with foundational knowledge of network security, security monitoring, SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity concepts . Responsibilities Monitor security alerts and assist with identifying potential security incidents Review logs and security events using SIEM and security monitoring tools Assist with investigating suspicious activity and escalating security incidents Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities Assist with endpoint, network, and application security activities Review security logs and identify unusual patterns or activity Help maintain security documentation, procedures, and reports Support security assessments and compliance activities Assist with access control and security policy requirements Work with technical teams to address identified security issues Document incidents, findings, and remediation activities Support cybersecurity projects across vendor and client environments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity and information security principles Understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP, firewalls, and common security threats Familiarity with SIEM, security monitoring, or log analysis Understanding of vulnerability management and incident response concepts Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Ability to learn new cybersecurity tools and technologies Preferred Skills Splunk Microsoft Sentinel
