Mgr Security

Role Overview:

The security manager develops, implements, and maintains security policies to protect an organization's personnel, property, and assets. This role involves overseeing security personnel, monitoring security systems like alarms and surveillance, developing emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, and responding to incidents.

Work Arrangement:

This is an office-based position located at our Newtown Square / Ellis Preserve office. 50% travel is required to other AMFC locations.

Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and manages security policies and procedures to protect people, property, and information Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions Manage and train contracted security staff locally and across multiple states Oversee security systems and manage repairs and replacement if needed Leads investigations into security incidents, theft, or policy violations Collaborates with law enforcement, emergency services, and other external partners Interview new contracted security staff across the US and evaluate them on an annual basis

Education/Experience:

Associate's Degree required At least five (5) or more years related experience in a Security Leadership role Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certified through ASIS preferred

Other Skills:
