Position Overview:
Shen Milsom & Wilke is pleased to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and results-oriented Security Consultant with 5+ years of experience based in the US to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission of providing top-tier security solutions that enhance our clients' operational integrity and safety. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping secure environments for diverse projects. Responsibilities Project Management and scheduling, developing design budgets, quality control, adherence to client directives and project scope, performing site surveys and/or client engagement to develop design requirements. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies tailored to client needs. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into project designs. Provide expert guidance on incident response planning and execution. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders. Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving security requirements. Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance. Qualifications 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of comprehensive experience in the security systems design or design/build field. Proven experience as a Security Consultant or similar role in IT security. Strong knowledge of NIST standards, PKI, WAN/LAN technologies. Familiarity with identity & access management systems is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PSP) are a plus.
