What they do
A Vulnerability Analyst or Penetration Tester probes for and exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. Penetration Tests are designed to achieve a specific, attacker-simulated goal and should be requested by customers who are already at their desired security posture. A typical goal could be to access the contents of the prized customer database on the internal network, or to modify a record in an HR system. Vulnerability Assessments are designed to yield a prioritized list of vulnerabilities and are generally for clients who already understand they are not where they want to be in terms of security. The customer already knows they have issues and simply need help identifying and prioritizing them.

1 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to support enhancements and maintenance of the Maine Eligibility and Enrollment (E&E) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Integrated Eligibility (IE), functional testing experience, and exposure to Selenium. The candidate will be responsible for testing enhancements and maintenance updates across Java and Salesforce based systems, triaging issues, designing test plans, creating test data, and collaborating closely with functional and development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Required Skills- Strong knowledge of Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems
- Strong experience in functional testing
- Experience testing enterprise applications and system enhancements

- Experience creating and managing test data
- Experience identifying and triaging application issues
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience collaborating with functional and development teams throughout the SDLC
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Hands on experience with Selenium

- Experience supporting Maine E&E or similar state eligibility systems Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing to support enhancements and maintenance of Maine E&E systems
- Test enhancements and maintenance updates across Java and Salesforce applications
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test scenarios
- Design and prepare test data required for testing activities
- Perform regression testing following system enhancements and maintenance updates
- Identify, document, and triage application issues and defects
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and expected system behavior
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC to support quality delivery
- Validate application functionality following enhancements, fixes, and maintenance updates
- Execute Selenium based testing where applicable
- Analyze test results and communicate issues and risks to project stakeholders
- Participate in defect resolution and retesting activities
- Support testing activities across the Maine

- Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
