POSITION OVERVIEW
The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all security operations to ensure the highest level of protection for clients, personnel, and assets. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of security programs across corporate, residential, mobile patrol, and special event environments. This position supports BlackGate's mission to deliver proactive, solution-driven security services with an emphasis on prevention, real-time responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Leadership Oversee day-to-day security operations across multiple client sites and service lines. Ensure all operations align with company standards, licensing, and compliance requirements. Team Management & Development. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate security personnel. Support recruitment, screening, and training of security personnel based on BlackGate standards. Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and leadership development. Ensure personnel maintain certifications (e.g., Act 235, first aid, etc.) Client & Program Management. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients. Develop customized security plans tailored to each client's environment and risk profile. Conduct site assessments and recommend preventative security solutions. Maintain strong client relationships built on trust and performance. Security Strategy & Risk Management Implement proactive security strategies focused on deterrence and prevention. Analyze incidents, trends, and vulnerabilities to improve operational effectiveness. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of: Physical security operations, surveillance, and patrol procedures. Incident response and reporting. Experience managing teams in dynamic environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Preferred experience in military, law enforcement, or private security leadership. Experience managing multi-site or large-scale security operations. Familiarity with real-time security tracking/reporting systems. Act 120, Act 235, Act 33/34,
