2-3 Years Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and responsible Cyber Security Engineer to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from security threats. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security tools. Key Responsibilities Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for potential threats. Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents. Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities. Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures. Analyze security logs and alerts using SIEM tools. Assist with threat detection, incident response, and security investigations. Conduct risk assessments and security audits. Work with IT and development teams to resolve security vulnerabilities. Maintain documentation related to security incidents and controls. Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and networking. Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar. Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners. Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7. Understanding of incident response and threat detection. Knowledge of Linux and Windows security. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure). Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or
ISO 27001.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, CISSP, or OSCP are a plus. Experience with cloud security and identity/access management. Experience with EDR/XDR and vulnerability management platforms. Ideal Candidate Profile 1-3 years of relevant cybersecurity experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Experience working in a security operations or enterprise IT environment or . Strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.
