A Cyber Crime Analyst or Investigator investigates a number of crimes, ranging from recovering file systems on computers that have been hacked or damaged to investigating crimes against children. Recovers data from computers that can be used in prosecuting crimes in court. Computer crime investigators must also write reports for and testify in court. Also may work for large corporations to test security systems that are currently in place. Investigators do this by trying various ways to hack into the corporation's computer networks. At corporations, computer crime investigators also maximize optimal computer system performance levels.

Work along data scientists and engineers to support real-time mission data processing, analysis, model validation, and operational intelligence workflows within a secure environment. Responsibilities Exploit and analyze video and imagery to support intelligence assessments and machine learning model development Perform geospatial and imagery analysis, including imagery correlation, feature identification, and pattern-of-life analysis Integrate GEOINT, IMINT, FMV, and other intelligence sources into fused intelligence products Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on AI/ML tool development, evaluation, ground truthing, and validation Develop briefings, reports, and analytic methodologies, workflows, assumptions, and findings Evaluate third-party analytic tools and provide operational feedback Research emerging geospatial, imagery exploitation, and FMV analysis techniques Requirements US Citizenship Active
