Requirements for Security Program Protection Specialist  Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related discipline Minimum 10 years of progressive experience supporting Information Security, Program Protection, Research Security, or National Security programs Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and implementing security programs supporting Research & Development organizations Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or related field Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Experience supporting Intelligence Community research organizations Experience protecting emerging cloud technologies and advanced cyber capabilities Professional security certifications such as: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) Security Program Integration Professional Certificate (SPIPC) Special Program Security Certification (SPSC)
