Job Description Clearance:
Requires a DoD security clearance. The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking an Cyber Counterintelligence Advisor to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) - CI Directorate, Cyber Operations Division.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare and staff CI Cyber packages (correspondence, executive notes, data calls, research reports).
  • Manage, track, and provide input for taskers.
  • Draft information papers, memoranda, and executive communications regarding cyber threat initiatives.
  • Review existing DoD policies and document requirements assigning DCSA Cyber Threat and CI responsibilities.
  • Define gaps in authorities. Align and advise on a 5-to-10-year Cyber CI Operations Division plan.
  • Review pending FAR, DFARS, and DoD directives regarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and National Security Systems (NSS).
  • Analyze cyber-relevant data in industrial security, CI, and cybersecurity reports.
  • Evaluate cyber-intrusion consequences reported.
  • Assess impacts of the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity (DIB CS) and NDAA Section 941 on NISP operations.
  • Attend and provide analytical support to boards, panels, and working groups at the DoD and National levels.
  • Promote cyber-threat information sharing between cleared industry, DCSA, and other government agencies (including CISA).
Position Requirements:
  • Expert, comprehensive knowledge of DoD CI programs, NISP policy, and cyber threat strategy. Deep understanding of pertinent Executive Orders, Presidential directives, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Policy & Framework Familiarity Working knowledge of NIST Special Publications (800-53, 800-171), NDAA Section 941, FAR/DFARS clauses, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Act (CISA) of 2018.
  • Ability to optimize executive-level briefings and congressional responses. Strong capability to draft highly sensitive communications, whitepapers, and strategic plans independently.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple overlapping priorities with minimal supervision, and execute tasks within established CATMS deadlines.
  • Professional experience in cyber counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, or industrial security policy mapping directly to DoD/Federal environments.
  • Experience with government systems used to manage and respond to taskers.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, National Security, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a closely related field.
