Description Join us in developing and scaling security solutions that protect Amazon's global operations. As a Security Software Development Engineer, you'll create innovative automations and tools that transform how our security teams respond to threats and vulnerabilities. Your work will directly impact the productivity of security engineers worldwide and strengthen the security posture of AWS and for our customers. Key job responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence by designing and implementing software processes, procedures, and intelligent automations that streamline security response workflows
- Build agentic automations that empower security engineers to work more efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with global security teams to identify high-impact opportunities for automation and tooling improvements
- Leverage modern technologies and AWS services to create scalable solutions that enhance security operations
- Deliver software that delights users with measurable efficiency and productivity gains About the team AWS Security Corporate Response (CorpSec) protects the corporate network environment that enables all Amazon employees to innovate securely for our customers.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience programming with Amazon Bedrock or another Gen AI platform. Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
