Summary:
The Data Engineer II develops and maintains analytic products including reports and data models to ensure success of key strategic initiatives. They present information through visualizations. Responsibilities include the design, planning, building, configuration and deployment of BI enterprise solutions. They will also be involved in the debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting of existing BI solutions. They have an in depth understanding of database management systems like ETL framework. They are flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary. As a level II this individual will be advanced in their craft, being responsible for contributing to design and analysis. They will explore new tools and technologies and lead unit testing efforts. Experience, combined with excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, enables them to solve difficult issues. This individual has proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative and only requires general supervision. Being a highly effective communicator and collaborator is paramount to this role. The individual will work with many different people of varying technical backgrounds.
