Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking a Data Engineer with a strong background in modern data platforms to support ongoing and upcoming initiatives. This individual will play a key role in optimizing and automating existing data workflows, with a focus on improving efficiency and scalability within the current data environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with a team of data engineers to support data integration and transformation efforts
• Enhance and automate existing data workflows to eliminate manual processes within Snowflake
• Work within an Azure-based data ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake
• Integrate and manage data pipelines connecting internal data sources to Snowflake and downstream reporting tools (e.g., dashboards)
• Support the maintenance and optimization of existing data tables and pipelines
• Partner with internal data teams (including third-party/vendor teams) to ensure seamless data flow and system alignment
• Make updates or modifications to existing Snowflake tables as needed to support business requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience in data engineering
• Hands-on experience with: Snowflake; Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience working with or supporting Epic Clarity or other Epic database systems (healthcare data experience highly preferred)
• Solid understanding of data pipeline design, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Strong collaboration and communication skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
