Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits seeks a Senior Unified Data Semantic Engineer to design and maintain semantic data models powering analytics across wholesale distribution, sales, and supply chain. You will architect knowledge graphs, standardize data definitions, and integrate data from ERP, CRM, logistics, and finance platforms. Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and business leaders to deliver governed metrics, high-quality datasets, and reusable semantic layers that support self-service analytics, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, people-first culture. Responsibilities Design and maintain unified semantic data models and governed metrics for enterprise analytics Integrate and standardize data from ERP, CRM, logistics, and finance systems Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable, high-quality data pipelines and warehouses Define and manage business glossaries, ontologies, and metadata for key domains Partner with BI teams to enable self-service analytics and trusted reporting Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards Optimize semantic layers for performance, usability, and reusability Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices for semantic modeling Required Skills Data modeling Semantic layer design (dbt/Look ML/semantic tools) SQLPython or Scala Knowledge graphs/Ontologies Data warehousing (Snowflake/Redshift/Big Query) ETL/ELT pipelines Master data management Data governance & metadata Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
