Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer with Databricks for a Contract with a client in Tampa FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark to support enterprise data initiatives.
Rate Range:
$45/Hour to $47/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Engineer with Databricks Job Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on Databricks using Apache Spark. Build and optimize batch and real-time streaming data solutions to process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards across data engineering processes. Optimize Databricks clusters and data architectures for cost efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark. Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large-scale data in cloud-based environments. Strong proficiency in Databricks, Spark, SQL, and AI Agents, with experience supporting both batch and real-time data processing workloads. If you are interested in this role, then please click

Pay Details:
