As a data engineer at Booz Allen,you'lluse yourexpertiseto help build advanced technology solutions and lead data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry.

You'llguide data engineering activities by overseeing the development and deployment of pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.

In this role,you'llcollaborate closely with AI model engineers, network and cloud architects, the ISSE, and other technical leaders to guide the development of scalable, missionaligned data pipelines.

You'llapply yourexpertisein data engineering, exploratory analysis, and feature development to shape how datasets are assessed, designed, transformed, and maintainedfor AI and ML workloads. While supporting a crossfunctional technical environment, you'llhelp ensure highquality, wellgoverned data flows that enable reliable model performance across operational, research, and enterprise systems.

You Have:

6+ years of experience as a data engineerExperience validating or normalizing datasets and developing schemasExperience implementing dashboards and metrics for data and pipeline monitoringExperience building automated ETL workflows and pipelines for data processesKnowledge of data governance practicesAbility to design, implement, andmaintain data pipelinesAbility tomonitorand improve pipeline performance in coordination with operations teamsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diplomaor GED and 6+ years of experience with data normalization and data pipelines, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with data normalization and data pipelines

Nice If You Have:

10+ years of experience as a data engineerExperience with cloud environments such as AWSorAzureExperience supporting data cleaning or orchestration for AI or ML solutionsBachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
