Job Description Data Engineer only on W2
Location:
Resources will be in office 4 days a week in Dearborn, MI Job type: Direct hire - Full time
Key Responsibilities:
  • System configuration for Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules
  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines and API integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Translate union contracts, labor laws, and work rules into system logic
  • Manage platform governance, security roles, upgrades, and environment stability
  • Build SQL-based reports and perform advanced data analysis
Skills Required:
  • SQL
  • Python
SaaS Education Required:
    Bachelor's Degree Primary Skills Required:
    • Enterprise WFM configuration experience (WFS preferred, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors)
    • Advanced SQL and ETL development experience
    • API / data integration experience (REST, SOAP, XML, flat files)
    • Strong technical/business requirements translation skills
    • Agile / Jira experience
    Experience Required:
    • 10+ years IT experience in large-scale enterprise environments
    • Hands-on WFM configuration for 10,000+ employee environments
    • HR/Payroll data integration and system support experience
    • Experience with union work rules and manufacturing environments
    • Familiarity with US/Canadian labor regulations (FLSA, provincial laws)
    Preferred Experience:
    • Workforce Software (WFS) hands-on experience
    • Cloud data tools (GCP, BigQuery, etc.)
    • Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience I'm interested
