Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to help lead and enhance large-scale data ingestion initiatives within a dynamic technology organization. Our team values technical excellence, collaboration, and strong communication to ensure the seamless integration and transformation of data critical to business intelligence and analytics functions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines using cloud technologies (Snowflake and AWS), supporting optimal performance and security. Design and deploy Python-based solutions to streamline extract-load-transform (ELT) processes and automate data workflows, including the use of AWS Lambda functions. Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements, document technical solutions, and deliver high-quality, consumable data models using tools such as dbt and Snowflake. Mentor other team members by sharing expertise, advising on best practices, and supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement in data engineering standards.

Required:

Bachelor's or graduate degree in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or another STEM degree program. At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or similar technical roles. Proficiency in Python programming, SQL, and experience developing cloud-based data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS. Experience with ELT tools and processes (including AWS Lambda), data modeling, and orchestration/scheduling tools for large-scale data integration.
