This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and will be trained and mentored by the Senior Data Analytics Manager, building fluency in SQL, ETL/integration patterns, and Vivacity's data architecture. Write and maintain SQL queries (BigQuerySQL, PostgreSQL, SuiteQL, LookML) to support reporting, reconciliation, data requests Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines Assist in testing and validating data queries and reports as needed Contribute to view and column documentation to improve data usability and query accuracy Maintain organized documentation of work performed, issues encountered and resolutions in the support ticketing platform for knowledge continuity Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Coachability; able to work under supervision while building toward independent ownership of tasks Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data validation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to document work clearly for technical and non-technical audiences Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of SQL and eagerness to learn Some exposure to Python or another scripting language preferred Familiarity with ETL/data pipeline concepts Proficiency in Google Workspace and spreadsheets Exposure to Celigo, Fivetran, BigQuery, Netsuite, Looker are a plus Values Carry passion. Internships, coursework, and related formal education are acceptable in lieu of professional experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent self-directed learning or certification (e.g., BigQuery, SQL certifications) will be considered. Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries to retrieve, transform, validate, or analyze data, preferred. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms or data warehouses, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar technologies, preferred.
